Eigentlich wollte ich mit einem Elektro-Scirocco aus dem Baujahr 1986 meinen Mitbürgern zeigen, dass man Elektroautos nicht unbedingt als Neuwagen beim Händler um die Ecke kaufen muss.

Ein klein wenig Aufmerksamkeit errege ich schon mit dem Wagen, meist aber eher wegen der Farbe. Schon im Stadtverkehr sind die Laufgeräusche der alten Winterreifen so gross, dass ich mich im Vorbeifahren vermutlich kaum leiser anhöre, als die bezingetrieben Verkehrsteilnehmer.
Jetzt ziert ein knalliges Warnsymbol mein Rückfenster und es gibt ein paar Hinweise auf meinen Blog. Mal sehen, ob das irgend jemand aufällt.
Actually, by driving this electrical Scirocco from 1986, I wanted to show my fellow citizen, that you do not necessarily have to buy a new electric car at your dealer next door, if you want to get an EV driver.
Yes, from time to time I get attention with my car, but in most cases this is because of the color. Already at city-traffic-speed the old winter tires of the Scirocco create such a noise, that I am not quieter than the other, petrol-driven cars.
Therefore I placed an eye-catching danger sign into my rear window and added some hints to my blog. Lets see, if anybody will notice this.
